CardScan Compatibility with Outlook 2010 64 bit

Does CardScan support Microsoft Office 2010 64 bit edition?
CardScan does not support Microsoft Office 2010 64 bit which includes Outlook 2010 (64 bit). However, CardScan does support the 32 bit version.
You can install Microsoft Office 32 bit edition on a Windows 64 bit machine. Microsoft only recommends 64 bit installations of Office to users who work with Excel spreadsheets that are larger than 2 gigabytes (GB). It allows users to work with much larger data sets than they could previously and to analyze large computational problems.

As a workaround, you can always export to vCards and import them into Outlook. vCard is a file format standard for electronic business cards. vCards are often attached to e-mail messages, but can be exchanged in other ways. The drawback to this is that you do not get a card image for the exported CardScan contact in Outlook. The same issue of not receiving a card image happens when you export from CardScan to Microsoft Excel. We recommend the vCard option over Excel because it's easier to import into Outlook.

If/when CardScan release a patch for 2010 64-bit support, we will update customers via phone/email.
